The Circumstances (production journal)

The CircumstancesMany people remember the first Russian j-horror “Dead Daughters”. After its release in 2007 there were two common opinions: some thought that director Pavel Ruminov was a genious and that he was the only hope of Russian cinema. Others considered him to be a self-enamoured, mentally unbalanced and mediocre. I wish more people watched “Dead Daughters” irrelative of the director.

This fall the new movie directed by Ruminov is going to be released. It’s a romantic comedy and that’s the only fact known about this movie. Even more so it’s being filmed right now.

“The Circumstances” has its blog on LiveJournal, in which one can find photos, storyboards and other interesting materials. Most of that information is presented in English.
